The only good thing about Denver's plugin is that it now allows a back door into fcp x to be now able import other. With Nick's plugin you are making exposure changes to the actual LUT so it's a lot more flexible and gives better control over under or overexposed shots. The problem is when the raw footage is over or underexposed then you have to use fcpx's in built colour corrector which is crap and also doesn't work when you already have an LUT applied. I think it would work great if you shot your footage perfectly out of the camera. I have just purchased denver riddles lut utility and am disapointed to be honest.
The crash allows me to reopen but takes me back to an old project. To get round it I add the plugin to one adjustment layer instead which sadly then means I cannot make any individual changes to clips. Where I have added a lot of instances of your plugin.
